Our Recruitment Process
We look forward to working with you!
GBL will work closely with you to find roles that fit your skills, experience and interests, and we will take the time to understand your career goals so we can match you to the right opportunities. We provide you with ongoing support and advice - treat you as an individual and help build your career.
Our aim is to build a strong, long lasting relationship with you that is open, supportive and respectful.
We know that your career is important and changing jobs can be both exciting and daunting – so you can be prepared, here’s what to expect when you submit your CV to us.
Once we have received your CV
Our goal is to review all submitted CVs, and to respond to you as quickly as we can – however, with certain roles we can experience a large response and this may delay us getting back to you.
Depending on your skill set and experience, we will want to talk to you over the phone to get an overview of your background and ideal role – and if we think that we can help make it happen, we will invite you to an interview. We will ask you to complete our online skills assessments, which can be done either at home or in our offices.
Meeting with your GBL consultant
At your interview, there will be forms and recruitment administration to take care of first. You will then meet your personal, dedicated GBL consultant who will focus on you - your skills, experience, aspirations and motivations.
At the end of the interview, we will discuss with you any suitable roles that are immediately available, plan together a job search strategy and offer you advice.
Regular updates and interview coaching
Please stay in contact with us – any new skills, experience, circumstances and availability may make a difference. Your consultant will be in touch with you, and when we have a relevant position, we will support you through the recruitment process, and will provide feedback following interviews with our clients.
