One of the fastest ways to improve your career potential is to develop your computer skills – and there are some great tutorials available online.

Lynda.com

The Wellington City Library provides free and unlimited access to Lynda.com, which is a fantastic database of over 3,500 online tutorials and courses, from Microsoft products through to leaderships skills, and how to use Facebook and LinkedIin.

It can be accessed by anyone with a library card through their website at www.wcl.govt.nz . You will need to click into mygateway.info, then select database Lynda.com from the drop-down arrow. At this point you will be able to log in using your library card and your surname as PIN.
